How To
Dice Roller: Type your dice pool (e.g. 5, 3d10, 2d6), set difficulty, hit Roll. Anything at or above difficulty counts as a success. Willpower adds +1 auto success, Damage/Soak ignores 1s, and Specialty 10s count as two successes. Hold the roll button for a harder throw. Click anywhere or Escape to dismiss.
Initiative Tracker: Add combatants with Name, Dex, Wits, and Mod (e.g. Celerity). Click Roll Initiative to roll 1d10 for everyone and order the list by initiative (Dex + Wits + 1d10 + mod). Use ◀/▶ or keyboard arrows to step through turns. Keep clicking the right Arrow or click Roll Initiative again for a new round. Clear All removes everyone.
Character Sheet: Used for housing your VtM characters, with Mage and Werewolf sheets coming soon. To roll a trait check, click an Attribute (e.g. Dexterity) and then the Ability you want to pair it with (e.g. Stealth), or click the Ability first and then the Attribute; either order builds the same dice pool and rolls. To roll a single Attribute or Ability on its own, right-click it or click it and then click it again (the dotted line will show a loop when you hover back over it). Character sheets are stored in your browser’s local storage, so clearing your cache or site data will erase them. I strongly recommend downloading your sheet often, ideally before and after each session. Sheets download as a .txt file should you wish to leave this app one day and use your data elsewhere. You can also batch-import downloaded .txt sheets using the box beneath the sheet controls. Either click it to pick multiple .txt files or drag and drop them, useful for players in multiple campaigns or Storytellers managing copies of their players' sheets.
Privacy, Terms, & Fine Print
Everything runs in your browser. Your preferences are saved in localStorage on your device, and rolls never leave your machine. I use Vercel Analytics (anonymous, no cookies) so I can keep an eye on server usage costs and prevent usage I can't afford. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the tip jar image loads from Ko-fi.
This app is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by White Wolf or World of Darkness. It is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and I am not liable for any issues arising from its use or potential downtime.
